English Oak Tavern Table
Oak trestle table with two sledge footed feet below chamfered columns with an arched central stretcher all reinforced with blacksmith made ironwork. One end of this table carries a hanging drawer while the multiple plank oak top is edge’d all round. The base still carries 19th Century brown paint all over. Trestle tables such as this are lower as they have no supporting frieze rail so they allow ample room for the sitters legs.
