English Linen Fold Coffer

Exceptional oak linen fold coffer with traces of red paint to the frame and green paint to the panels. The thick top with a deep chamfered front and coffin shaped boards is supported by wonderful original iron strap hinges. This box benefits from being shallow from front to back unlike much furniture of this period.
