Bobbin And Thimble

Late 18th Walnut bobble and thimble stand, beautifully turned with fantastic colour and patina. The central column has been constructed of four contrasting coloured pieces of wood before turning to add decorative impact. The velvet pin-cushion is missing from its place as the finial of the piece so it terminates in an empty turned socket. A lovely piece of Treen and a delightful period sewing accessory.
